Home Magnate is a casual life simulator where you advance from grubby lookin’ dude in a rundown room to a successful tuxedo wearing, champagne sipping millionaire standing on a pile of money. Although we didn’t get that far, our guy has so far upgraded his room with a study and a new PC and video camera, so he’s well on his way to fame and fortune.

Yes, there are ads, but they are not obtrusive or in your face and you can elect to watch them or not. Just means you will have to wait longer for turns or to earn more currency. We did have some issues with ads not working/loading, which was a little frustrating, but forgivable because hey, the game is FREE(mium)!
The game has definite promise, graphics are nice, concept is aspirational and easy to pickup. Nice 10 minute time-killer. 7.5/10
